A woman is said to be recovering after being hit by a bus in Chatham town centre yesterday.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Chatham Waterfront bus station near the Pentagon just before 10am.

The air ambulance landed in a nearby park, but the woman was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital by road.
