Police are investigating reports that a woman was raped in Gillingham town centre.
Officers were called just after 1am this morning to reports a woman has been raped in Sappers Walk, off the High Street.
Many people on social media reported a large police presence in the area.
Police say inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
