A 20-year-old woman has reported been sexually assaulted in Chatham.
The victim was walking home from work when the incident occurred near the High Street end of Upbury Way, at some point between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Sunday, July 19.
Police are appealing to the public for information.
She said she was approached by three men who pinned her down and attempted to remove her clothing, before leaving in the direction of Chatham Hill.
Two of the suspects are described as being black, one of whom had a Mohawk haircut and was wearing a T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms.
The other was bald and wearing a dark tracksuit.
The third suspect is described as being Asian.
Investigating officer PC Sandra Stirk said: "The victim in this case was traumatised by what happened and we are keen to track down those responsible.
"It is believed the men may have been disturbed by a vehicle travelling down Upbury Way and towards the High Street. We would particularly like to hear from the driver of that car, as well as anyone else who may be able to aid our investigation."
