Onlookers watched as fire fighters tried to resolve the tricky situation in Rochester Road, Burham, at around 9.45am.

As a result, traffic couldn’t get through and pedestrians were stopped due to fear of any potential vehicle fires.

One person said diverted traffic along Rochester Road due to a new one-way system had helped cause the issue.
While another joked: “You can’t park there mate!”
A fire service spokesman said: “We were called at 9.44am today to reports of a crash involving three vehicles in Rochester.
“Two fire engines attended, and crews used battery powered tools to remove the door of a vehicle to release one person, who was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.”
