Chatham Town Women have new shirt sponsors for the next two seasons with the PG Group of companies

Chatham Town Women have received a pre-season boost with sponsorship from a growing local company - and fans can benefit too.

The PG Group of companies will sponsor the women’s team’s shirts for the next two seasons in a deal where the club’s season tickets holders can also now get a 10% discount on products, including windscreens, tyres and plant hire.

Chatham Town Women are currently in pre-season action, preparing for a new season as they look to bounce back from relegation out of the FA Women’s National League South.

They will be playing in Division 1 South East next season - the fourth tier of the English game - starting at home to AFC Sudbury on August 18.

Chats chairman Kevin Hake is determined to see the team back on the up and the new deal will certainly help.

Mr Hake said: “Dave Goodger and the team at PG Site Services have long been supporters of Chatham Town, sponsoring the Bournville Road stand and men’s first team back of shirts for over four years now.

“Just like Chatham Town has expanded, so has the PG business group, which extends into M2 Tyres, PG Sweepers, PG Powered Access, PG Windscreens and Goodger Specialist Equipment Ltd.

“We are delighted to announce that the PG Group of companies will be sponsoring the women’s front and back of shirts for the forthcoming 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons.

“Dave and the PG team’s support is very much appreciated and we look forward to working with them in the future.

“I know supporters of the Chats will also benefit as the PG group will be offering discounts to all season ticket holders, so it really is a great deal for everyone.”

Mr Goodger is the managing director of the PG Group of companies, saying they are “delighted to both extend and increase our support of our local football club.”

He added: “We have long been involved with the Chats and we have enjoyed watching the club grow both on and off the pitch.

“It is a pleasure to be involved with the club and also expand our interests in supporting the women’s game at Chatham Town by including sponsoring the shirts.

“We wish the club and fans all the best for forthcoming season and we hope to see you at a game soon - Up The Chats!”

Chatham Women have three pre-season games left, with a home match against Moneyfields today (Sunday) at 2.30pm. They host Ebbsfleet United Women on Wednesday night (7.45pm).

An away game against Ashford United on Sunday, August 11 ends their pre-season campaign.
