Amelia Dispinseri clinched a gold medal at the British Aerobic Gymnastic championships.

The 10-year-old won the medal in the foundation individual division, two years and a day from the first time she started training with the Champion Aerobic Gymnastics Development squad which is based in Rochester.

Last Sunday she was competing among 13 of the best 10-year-old girls nationally.

Due to covid, the last championships and NAC Cup was two years ago in 2019.

Community and friends were able to watch the performance live via streaming and Dispinseri was overwhelmed at the wonderful reception and support she had received following a stylish and confident routine.

Dispinseri, who attends St Margaret’s Primary School, worked diligently through the Covid lockdowns and hasn’t missed training. She would welcome any local companies willing to offer sponsorship help. For further information please email: angelinedispinsiri@me.com
