MEDWAY & Maidstome middle distance runner Tim Alexander showed good form in the Birmingham Indoor Games on Sunday, one week before the Norwich Union World Indoor Trials at Sheffield.
Alexander won his 800m heat in 1 minute 56.19 seconds before improving marginally to finish third in the final with 1 minute 56.00 seconds.
Competing in Alexander's heat was Ambrejs Safras of Medway and Maidstone who broke two minutes for the first time, finishing fifth in 1 minute 59.39 seconds.
