Gillingham Anchorians Hockey Club concluded a successful season celebrating 69 years of hockey with its annual dinner and dance at the St George Hotel in Chatham.
Team of the season was awarded to the Men’s 4ths after winning their league with games in hand and securing promotion.
The club was also able to honour the promotion of both the Ladies’ 2nds and 3rds team.
Chairman Trevor Shave said: “Our annual dinner is always a great time of enjoyment and appreciation and we welcomed everyone from those who played their first season to those who have played their last.
“It was a season worth celebrating and one to be proud of, and we’re already looking forward to the club’s 70th anniversary season, starting this September.”
Anchs have some summer games planned and are keen to welcome former players back for the club’s 70th season. You can find more information at www.gahc.co.uk
