Kelly Copeland lands a kick to her opponent at the Casino Rooms

Cuxton’s Kelly Copeland became the county’s most successful currently active kickboxer on Sunday.

The TKO Academy fighter added yet another title to her already impressive CV at the Casino Rooms in Rochester.

Copeland is already a current British and Commonwealth champion, has won the prestigious World Classic in America and on Sunday added the 5 Nations title, with a clear points win over Ireland’s Leona Trout.

TKO’s Kay Sumner kept her English title with a draw, in her first defence, against Annabelle Shoob.

Kay had the worst start possible, taking a count in the first round but she came back strong but it wasn’t enough to take the win.

TKO Junior fighters Jensen Rowley and Jay Huntley, both 13, enjoyed wins over Dalton John and Adam Gardner respectively.
