Four title fights will be on the bill at Medway Park on Friday night, with Hoo lightweight Adam Dingsdale among the hopefuls.
Dingsdale goes up against Bulgarian Yordan Vasilev – a fighter he beat on points in just his second professional bout - for the International Masters belt.
Promoting the event is Mickey Helliet of Hellraiser promotions. It’s the first time he has ventured into Kent to put on a show.
He said: “The closest I’ve been before is Old Kent Road. We’ve got a lot of local lads fighting and I was there to see the previous two shows at Medway Park. It’s a good venue, nice and clean and with a good atmosphere.
“Ticket sales are good and with four titles on the bill, it’s great for the area. We’ll hopefully see some good boxing and if all goes well, we will look to come back again.”
Dingsdale knows he is going to have to be at his best to claim the International Masters belt. He saw off Vasilev a year and a half ago but is taking nothing granted.
“He was tough,” said the 25-year-old. “He was probably the toughest I have met and he’s had a couple of good wins since.
“He is strong, he can punch and he has already knocked a few English lads over. I am going to have to be at my best.”
