Boxer Adam Dingsdale to fight for the British Masters lightweight title at Medway Park

Medway Park is set to host professional boxing once again.
Adam Dingsdale is among those on bill, fighting for the British Masters lightweight title.
The Hoo fighter was denied the same title in September, after his opponent Craig Johnson was pulled out of the fight in the third round with a facial injury. The bout was drawn.
Dingsdale, who has won all of his other professional fights, had set his heart on the Southern Area title but manager Steffy Bull admits that’s out of their hands.
He said: “I have been pushing for a Southern Area title against the reigning champion Liam Shinkwin but they are not interested. We can’t do a lot until Adam is mandatory.
“Adam is developing well and is a pleasure to work with. His coach Al Smith has trained national champions before and by working together, we are guiding Adam in the right direction.
“Hopefully, we can bring back a bit of the glory years like we had with Johnny Armour. He’s on the right path.”
Erith-based Pettitt is on the bill, fighting Jamie Speight for a Southern Area belt, while Thanet’s Dan Woodgate is also aiming for an area title shot.
The show is planned for September 20. Ticket details to be announced shortly.
