Midfielder Michael Doughty has been recalled from his loan spell at Gillingham by QPR.

The 22-year-old has featured 13 times for the Gills since making his debut in the 1-1 League 1 draw at home to Crawley at the end of October.

Doughty did not score a goal for Gills during his stay at Priestfield although he was sent off in the 3-2 win over Leyton Orient in November.

His last appearance came in Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern area final first leg defeat to Bristol City.

A statement from QPR said: "The 22 year-old midfielder was due to stay at the Priestfield Stadium until January 24th, but a recent change in management at the League One club has seen him return earlier than scheduled."
