There is a great togetherness here and you could see that by the way we celebrated Saturday’s equaliser.

The crowd came onto the pitch to join in and I’m just glad I wasn’t at the bottom of it!

From the first day I came in here, the boys were welcoming and I settled straight in and felt good. If you are settled, then the football will look after itself.

Even when we weren’t getting results, at the start of the season, it was still a good changing room and you can see it even more now, especially Saturday when everybody was celebrating that goal together.

We have scored late goals in front of the Rainham End in our last two games and those fans do help, they almost suck the ball in.

With the noise they make, they do make a difference when we are shooting towards that end.

We’re back at home this weekend and it was a massive buzz to get that equaliser against Peterborough. When you see Maxi going through and it hit the back of the net, it was a massive buzz.

We were on a good run before the Wigan game and wanted to get back to not losing.
The gaffer has been doing well since taking over and hopefully we can keep pushing forwards. Who knows where it can take us.
