The Shouting Men with Gillingham midfielder Jake Hessenthaler

Blackburn are on a great run of form but our mentality won’t change.
We will be taking the game to them because on our day we can compete with anyone in this league.
We all know they have good players, including the Dack Man.
I’ve known Bradley Dack for many years, even before playing in the youth team with him at Gillingham, and there is no doubting how good he is.
When he went to Blackburn there were no doubts he would recreate the form he had here in that 2015/16 season.

Under the gaffer I don’t think we have had many games where we’ve shut up shop, maybe we’ve done it in the last 10 minutes to take a win, but every game we go into we are thinking about us and what we can do to hurt them.
We go into the game off the back of a good win at Portsmouth last Saturday.
Conor (Wilkinson) scored a great goal and he does it every day in training. It didn’t surprise me when he scored his goal. Technically he is very good.
It was a game-changing moment for us – it was so early on in the second half and it gave us the momentum.
Second half everyone was superb and Marts’ second goal was a joke of a finish, it was sublime.
It’s a tough one to say which is best, they were both unbelievable finishes.
