Exciting forward Jordan Green has joined Gillingham on a permanent deal.

Green has been on trial with the Gills since the start of pre-season after spending last season with non-league Dulwich Hamlet.

The 27-year-old winger started out at Fulham as a youngster and went onto have a couple of seasons with Bournemouth, although he didn’t make a first team appearance.

Since then Green has been with Yeovil Town and Barnsley while in recent seasons having loan spells at Newport County and Southend United, before dropping into the non-league football with Dulwich.

Green has caught the eye in pre-season with his energy and enthusiasm, giving the Gills an additional attacking option. He scored against Folkestone and won the penalty in a 2-0 victory.
