Gillingham booked a spot in the Kent Senior Cup quarter-finals after a ten-goal thriller at Priestfield.
The League 1 hosts put seven goals past Conference Premier Dartford in the county cup competition on Wednesday night.
Senior Gills players Amine Linganzi, Antonio German and Josh Pritchard all found the target in the win.
All were short of minutes in Gills’ first team and needed match action.
The Gills got off to a great start when Charlie Webster scored with just four minutes gone.
Darts levelled shortly after as Regan Payne fired home from 25 yards.
Pritchard responded for the Gills and put them back infront with a long-range effort of his own to make it 2-1 on 15 minutes.
It was 3-1 just before the break when Linganzi scored after good work from German to set up the chance.
German netted himself with a low effort eight minutes after the restart and Gills’ fifth goal was scored by Webster just before the hour mark.
Becka Dembele pulled one back for the Darts but Aidan Blanchard struck for the hosts to restore the four goal advantage.
Dembele got his second with 20 minutes left but Jack Sellens netted another for the Gills to make it 7-3.
The draw for the quarter-finals was made immediately after Wednesday's match.
