Gillingham loan defender Kortney Hause played the second half for England under-20s on Wednesday night.
Former Welling United loan star Baily Cargill was also in action and he scored England’s second goal in a 2-2 draw with Canada in Bournemouth.
Hause, on loan at Priestfield from Championship side Wolves, replaced Liverpool’s Lloyd Jones at the interval and played the second half at left back.
Nineteen-year-old Hause recently scored for the Young Lions in a Four Nations Cup. Wednesday night’s appearance was his third for the under-20s.
England twice led the match at the Goldsands Stadium and looked on course for a 2-1 win after Bournemouth’s Cargill struck with five minutes left. The Cherries defender spent three months on loan at Park View Road last season.
But England were denied a win when Canada scored off a late set-piece.
England are in action again on Monday when they take on Portugal, in Coimbra, and that is likely to rule Hause out of Gillingham’s League 1 match against Leyton Orient.
