Kent golfers missed out in final qualifying for The Open.
Sixteen places were up for grabs across four venues to join the field at Royal Troon later this month.
But there were no spots for the Kent contingent in action over 36 holes on Tuesday.
Royal Cinque Ports in Kent was among the venues chosen, where Thanet’s Max Orrin (The Drift) finished three-over-par after rounds of 74 and 73.
He finished a shot clear of Canterbury’s Josh Bristow, a PGA trainee at Queenwood in Surrey, who went round in 77 and 71.
Chart Hill duo Nicholas Olson and Francis McGuirk were nine-over and 17-over respectively.
Olson went round in 79 and 74 while McGuirk shot 81 and 80.
Bearsted golfer Matt Ford (CK Group), who qualified two years ago, was three-over at West Lancashire after carding 73 and 74.
Jack Lee (Rochester & Cobham) finished 12-over at the same course after two rounds of 78.
At Burnham & Berrow, Robin Wells (Faversham) ended nine-over-par following rounds of 77 and 74, while Jonathan Exon-Taylor (Nevill) finished on 23-over-par after scores of 83 and 82. Zak Morgan (Rochester & Cobham) withdrew.
Up at Dundonald, rounds of 76 and 77 saw Warren Wood (Rochester & Cobham) finish nine-over.
