Gillingham’s young striker Noel Mbo has been loaned out.
He has joined Hampton & Richmond on a short-term deal.
The 18-year-old is the latest player to head out on loan, following the earlier announcement that Finn O’Mara has joined Folkestone.
Young goalkeeper Tom Hadler is already at Gloucester City and midfielder Bradley Stevenson is with Cray Wanderers.
Mbo, who was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, turned professional with the Gills this summer.
He was one of five players to be offered pro terms at the end of last season, along with Stevenson and O’Mara. Ben Chapman and Aaron Simpson were also promoted from the youth ranks.
The striker made five appearances on the bench for the Gills last season, under head coach Ady Pennock, but wasn’t called upon. He is still waiting his senior debit with the Gills.
Hampton, who play in National League South, host Havant & Waterlooville this Saturday before travelling to Welling’s Park View Road on Bank Holiday Monday.
