Medway Area Sunday League round-up (09/01/22)

Super League leaders Quested went goal crazy with a 15-0 win over Rainham Kenilworth Macks.

Fjord Rogers and James MacDonald both scored five goals, Fraser Rogers (2), Sam Welch, Freeman Rogers and James Staunton all added to their tally.

Hat-tricks for Alex Taylor and Reece Gillies, doubles by John Brown and Alfie Spears plus Bobby Terrett and Connor Miller were all on target for Chatham Town SR in a 12-0 win against Anchorians.

Cuxton 1991 and Wigmore shared four goals and the points in a 2-2 draw, Ted Lay and Robbie Keen were on target for Cuxton. Brad Jones and Mike Slade replied for Wigmore.

Medway Rovers 17 lost 2-1 to Jimmy’s Giants, Dan Pollard their marksman. Josh Webb and Gabs Luckhurse did enough to bag the points.

Aaron Lorentson and Paul Williams goals were not enough for Medway Sport as they went down 4-2 to Darland Spartans, whose goals came from Yomi, Ben Hutton, Charlie Kavanagh and Lewis Jordan.

In Division 1, Matthew Smith and Daryl Lewis led Thamesview to a 2-1 win against ASK Medway.

Taylor Tuck-Brown scored for Anchorians Athletic but they lost 3-1 to Cliffe Woods Colts A, Matt Wills, Luke Good and Kieran Stannard doing the damage.

Milton & Fulston United and High Halstow shared the points in a 3-3 draw. Charley Kavanagh and James Gasson (2) netted for Milton, Sam Crayford, Luqman Adesina and Joel Wakefield replied for the visitors.

Riverside Academy had Josh West (2), Hans Mogere, David Chiwewe (2), Asabere Boateng and Michael Okoh to thank for their 7-0 victory over Cross Park.

Division 2 Cliffe Woods Colts Reserves won 9-0 at Bredhurst Juniors with goals from Ainsley Linton (3), Ashley Trigg, Taylor Fraser, Michael Mason, Steve Miller, Connor Hood and an own goal.

Doubles from Jamie Blackham and Dylan Lockyer were enough for Cantium to shade Rochester 4-3.

Gillingham Town went down 5-0 to The Walnut Tree, who scored through Yuen Chun Sing (2), Thomas Hayes, Ricky Horsington and Rory Hawrihane.

Kent Marina 19 and FC Catalans shared six goals and the points in a 3-3 draw. Michael Smith (2) and Robert Pike netted for Kent Marina 19 with Samuel Heard scoring a hat-trick for FC Catalans.

Division 3 leaders Real 60 won 6-0 at Fleur De Lis with goals from Bradley Taylor (2), Jon Hickman, Mitchell Wilson, Charlie Burns and Aaron Simpson.

Bailey Hooker’s hat-trick ensured the points for Eagles Gold in their 3-1 victory over Rainham Eagles.

David Little and Tom Fuller scored for Medway Rovers 20 goals in their 5-2 defeat to second-placed Pentagon Reserves, Jack Thompson (4) and Kieran Daly ensured the points.

Rochester Eagles lost 5-0 to Medway United West, for whom Ben Smith (2), Jason Manderson, Billy Bleach and Luke Webb scored.

Bredhurst defeated Your Move Chatham 13-0 thanks to Charlie Hetterley (5), Joshua Robinson (3), Joseph Balderston (2), Thomas Wood, Matthew Hawkins and Kye Knappitsch.

In Division 4, Dave Whealdon (3), Callum Dimech, Aaron Cook and Karim Balhaddad were all on target for Medway Knights in their 6-0 victory over Milton & Fulston Zebras.

Kieran Wells' brace earned the points for AFC Shorne against Kent Marina Gunners.

London Road lost 6-3 to Bredhurst Juniors United, Ellis Barrett (3), John Clarkson, David Lawanson and Tyler Bell finding the target.

Jack Hardy (2), Jake Griffiths and Harvey White were on target for Thamesview Rangers as they shaded Tunbury Athletic 4-3, Dominic Lloyd bagged a hat-trick in reply.

Gareth Williams and Aaron Parkes strikes for The Stag almost pulled back a 3-0 deficit with Pegasus 81. Ethan Brown, Jack Watkins Everitt and Will Holden had put Pegasus in charge.

Glen Martin scored both goals for The Stumble in a 2-2 draw with Medway Sport XI, Brandon Berry and Kalio Francis netting for the visitors.
