Medway Area Sunday League round-up (05/11/23)

Lucus Bindon, Lewis Jordan, James Downes and Andy Hales were all on target in Rainham Kenilworth Athletic’s 4-0 Premier Division victory over Wigmore on Sunday.
In Division 1, a Connor Rayfield brace led Medway Sport XI to a 2-1 success over FC Catalans, for whom Sam Heard netted.
Sam Ainsley got the lone strike in Anchorians Athletic's 3-1 loss to Rainham Kenilworth, who scored through Ryan Mills, Ben Hussey and Nathan Hulett.
Pentagon got the better of their Division 2 goal fest against Hempstead United, winning 6-4.
Jack Thompson (4), Kieran Daly and Lance Witcher scored for Pentagon. Harry Hutton (2), Jordan Holloway and Callum Burton replied for Hempstead United.
Division 3 Cantium lost 5-0 to Athletic Bilbowls with goals from Darren Hawes (3), Conor Simpson and Jordan Meikle.
Carzalet Smith and Ronnie Wilson were on target for Cliffe Woods Rangers in their 4-2 defeat to Eagles Gold, Cain Sales (2), Jamie Wise and Thomas Tingley did the damage.
Lewis Ray and Liam Hamilton ensured the points in Medway Rovers 20’s 2-0 victory over Bredhurst Juniors United.
New Brompton 1893 and Medway United shared six goals and the points in a 3-3 draw. James Drobka, James Young and Terry Eeeles were on the scoresheet for New Brompton 1893 while Ben Smith hit a hat-trick in reply.
In Division 4, Rochester Eagles won 4-1 against Peninsula United thanks to Mason Spear, Michael Adjel, Callum Jeffries and Tom Bicker.
Jordan Reynolds’s hat-trick, supported by Isaac Graham, Ethan Graham and Edward Holmes, helped The Stumble ran out 6-0 winners over Palmerston Athletic.
Liam Green’s goal was not enough as Your Move Chatham went down 2-1 to Kent Marina 19, who scored through John Small and Kieron Swan.
In Division 5, Tyler Vaughan claimed both goals for Walderslade WMC in a 2-2 draw with New Road Athletic.
Wigmore Wanderers shaded Rochester Eagles Reserves 3-2 with strikes from Jack Downey, Harley Tutt, Ben Hetterley. Alfie Donovan and Joshua Baker replied for the visitors.
In the Senior League Cup, AFC Shorne lost 5-2 to Quested who scored through Brad Schaffer (2), Harry Lester, Fjord Rogers and Sam Stace.
Ashley Poppy claimed all four goals in Cliffe Woods Colts’ 4-1 win over Cuxton 91, for whom Harrison Teale netted.
In the Junior League Cup, Ask Medway won on penalties against Eagles following a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes, Bobby Stuart with their goal.
Cliffe Woods Colts A and Real 60 drew 2-2 at 90 minutes with Real 60 winning 5-4 on penalties. Jack Burnham and Aaron Brookes earlier scored for Colts and Ralph Bedford and Kane Haysman replied for Real 60.
Eliott Huitson and George Baker were on target in The Walnut Tree’s 2-1 win at Riverside Academy.
In the Junior League Trophy, Finlay Grundy (3) and Reece Germano (2) were on target for Caspian Tigers in their 5-0 victory over Cross Park.
Taffy Zinyuke scored both goals in Strood’s 2-1 victory over Westfield Sole.
