It’s great to be involved with the first team again.
Since the new gaffer came in I feel much more confident in training.
I’m doing well, getting in the squad and feel I have more of a chance.
My debut came in the Checkatrade Trophy in August, where I played 60-odd minutes and I thought I did really well.
It was good to make my senior debut and if I keep working hard in training then hopefully I will get my chance to make my debut in the Football League. That would be massive.
I have been doing a lot of individual work with Ady Pennock and that has been a big help.

As defenders we often go off and do our own thing, working on individual stuff like heading.
I’m also working really hard in the gym at getting bigger.
I am quite tall but I need to bulk out a bit more. Neil Withington has come in (as fitness coach) and I’ve done more leg sessions and upper-weight sessions. He will soon be giving us all individual programmes. Hopefully that works out well.
I don’t know where my height comes from. My dad is 5ft8in and my mum is the same, which I guess is quite tall for a woman. Maybe I get it from her.
I was always the tallest in the youth team and I have got used to it, but next to our new keeper, Tomas Holy, I feel quite small. He is ridiculously tall.
