Slovak import Marek Nahlik joined the Invicta Dynamos ranks ahead of last weekend and another new face could follow.

Coach Kevin Parrish is keen to bolster a threadbare squad which was down to just 12 players in Cardiff last weekend.

Parrish said: “We’ve had a couple in for training and I need to speak to a player’s coach to sort out a two-way contract with his EPL club, so hopefully I will have another one in by the weekend.

“We did have another player train, who was probably good enough but probably needs a bit more experience.”

Parrish was delighted with the impact from Nahlik, who opened his account in the 8-5 defeat against Cardiff on Saturday, before hitting a hat-trick on his debut in the 15-5 win over Milton Keynes on Sunday.

Parrish said: “He (Nahlik) came into training on Thursday on one line and played on another Saturday but he got a goal and that’s what you want off an import. On Sunday, he got 3+4 and combined well with Smith, who got 3+3, so that was good to see.”

The Mos are away at Wightlink Raiders on Saturday in National Division 1 South.

They return to Gillingham on Sunday against Streatham Redskins in the Southern Cup (face-off 5.15pm).
