Gillingham striker Luke Norris predicting goals after scoring twice to beat Doncaster Rovers 2-1 in League 1

Striker Luke Norris is hoping his match-winning brace on Saturday kick-starts his Gills career.
The young forward netted both goals in Gillingham’s 2-1 victory over Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium.
“I have maybe got off to a slow start here and I think now I can kick on,” said Norris.
"Hopefully this is a little start now and we can go on a run, win some games and hopefully I get some more goals.”
Norris was starting back-to-back games for only the second time this season. He’s currently keeping Danny Kedwell, Cody McDonald and Antonio German out of the side.
“It is nice to have the competition between us,” said the 21-year-old former Brentford striker. “If you get a run of games as a forward it is a lot better.
“All forwards play off confidence and if you are in and out you don’t really know, so if you get a run of games going you can start to play better.”
Norris has taken it back to basics in training and he feels that has helped his game.
“I have been better this week in training,” he said. “I have been keeping it more simple and doing not too bad in the games. It was nice for (the manager) to start me again and hopefully I have repaid him.”
