Hollands & Blair started life without sacked boss Luke Jessup in Southern Counties East Premier Division with three points on Saturday.

A dramatic game saw Blair, under the caretaker management of chairman Paul Piggott, beat Rusthall 2-0 despite having two players sent off.

Hollands & Blair chairman Paul Piggott was back in the dugout on Saturday.

Charlie Sheringham gave Blair a 12th-minute lead and David Chandler doubled the advantage before half-time.

Blair held on despite losing Joe Boichat and Charlie Wright to red cards in the second half, playing the final half-hour with nine men.

Unbeaten leaders VCD ran out 2-0 winners at Lordswood. Neil Spencer put Vickers ahead on 48 minutes with Richard Jimoh adding a second deep into stoppage time.

Faversham remain unbeaten but they were held at home 2-2 by Corinthian in a repeat of last season’s play-off semi-final.

Henry Arnold gave Corinthian a third-minute lead before Callum Davies and Tashi-Jay Kwayie put Faversham in charge at the break. But Jack Billings equalised with 12 minutes left.

The third unbeaten record remains intact after Punjab United edged Kennington 1-0 thanks to Jack Barry’s 20th-minute goal.

An early Rob Hughes goal proved decisive as Whitstable went down 1-0 at Stansfeld while Regan Corke cancelled out Sam Adams’ opener for Lydd as they drew 1-1 at Tunbridge Wells.

Two late penalties by Fisher’s Armani-Jordan Martin saw Larkfield & New Hythe pegged back.

Larks led 2-0 thanks to Tyler Ibe and Matt Day but Fisher hit back, scoring their second spot-kick eight minutes into added time.

Sutton Athletic also let a two-goal lead slip as they were held at Erith & Belvedere.

Arlie Desanges and England Kurti put Sutton 2-0 ahead inside the first half-hour but Tunde Aderonmu’s brace made it five goals in four games and ensured a point for the Deres.

Goals from Jamie Philpot, Jerry Nnamani and Alfie Kitt saw Glebe win 3-0 at home to Bearsted.

A late Bobby Dunn goal ensured Snodland drew 3-3 at Holmesdale. Jack Church, Lewis Heywood-Oriogun and Sam Bayford’s penalty scored for the hosts, Ryan Thompson and Tristan Lock also netted for Snodland.

Forest Hill Park continue to lead the way in Division 1 after Croydon drew 1-1 at Rochester.

Faversham Strike Force are two points off top spot in third as first-half goals from Tom Barton and Ryan Godding saw them win 2-0 at FC Elmstead.
