And Connor Ogilvie was at it again with another late winner as Gillingham continued their fine form with a 1-0 win over Rochdale.
Veteran player-coach Micheal Everitt was man-of-the-match on his return to the side as Folkestone consolidated top spot in the Isthmian Premier with a 4-0 Boxing Day win over Kent rivals Margate.
Two goals from Jack Evans, including a stunning winner, saw Chatham beat Sheppey 3-2 before a record Southern Counties East crowd of 927 at Maidstone Road.
Billy Munday continued his good goalscoring form from midfield as Deal won 3-0 at Canterbury.
And pacy winger Merrick Simms came off the bench to score the winner as Corinthian came from 2-0 down to beat Punjab 3-2.
Up top, Darren McQueen made it three goals in two games over Christmas by opening the scoring in Dartford's 3-0 win over Tonbridge.
Johan Caney-Bryan marked his return from an ankle injury by scoring twice as Sittingbourne thrashed Ramsgate 7-0.
And there were also two goals for Jason Thompson in Tunbridge Wells' 4-1 win against Crowborough.
