Promotion to the EBL Division 1 for the first time in their history helped Medway Park Crusaders basketball side win Team of the Year.

Captain James Harris said: “It’s great to be recognised. There was a lot of hard work and dedication that got us promoted.”

Their success led to coach James Vear being appointed as assistant coach at Dalhousie University in Canada and OJ Reed being selected for the Austin Toros in the NBA Development League.
