I wouldn’t say we were happy with a point last weekend but we were content.
The draw against Walsall ensured we maintained our unbeaten run in the league at Priestfield and picked up four points from two games in a week.
If someone asked us before the Peterborough and Walsall game and said ‘would you take four points?’ we would have snapped their hand off.
We could have done more Saturday but you can’t win them all and we will go again on Saturday.
In the last two games I’ve been asked to play right-back and it was tough to start with, against Peterborough.
I was up against a decent winger in Jon Taylor. He was a bit of a livewire but I eventually found my feet. A lot about being a full-back is about your positioning. I’ve been enjoying it.
I have played more or less every position on the pitch over the past few years. It goes two ways that.
It is good sometimes because you can fill in when there are injuries or suspensions and it’s good for a team because you can step in and be moved around. Sometimes, from a personal point of view, it can be frustrating.
You always want to secure a position down but if I am needed to play there, I am more than happy.
