Beating Wigan at Wembley in 2000 was a special moment but a lot has happened since then.

We’re both now back in League 1 and we’re determined to keep our momentum going after a great start.

Wigan have only just come down from the Championship so we know it will be a tough challenge. They are a big club but we are not going to be pushed over by them.

They are going to find it hard to get anything from us and will have to play well to win.

My memory of the 2000 play-off game is not great but I do remember bits of that final. It was a great win for the club and I was mascot for the Gills that day.

I must have only been seven and one of the few memories I have was getting frightened by the fireworks as I walked out!

It was a special moment for me, though, watching the game from the stands and hopefully we can be celebrating another win against them this weekend.

We are definitely up for the challenge.
