Our fans are always fantastic and it was great to see so many travel to Bolton.

They could have just sat at home and watched on TV but credit to the 223 who were there supporting us.

It was a long journey for our fans and we are thankful for their support.

Some people will have had work in the morning and even those that didn’t, they had to take days off, to make the trip.

Even when we were 4-0 down they were still singing. We gave it our all on the night and sometimes the quality does show through.

A lot of their players could play in the Championship now. It was just one of those nights. We have to move on and try and bounce back on Saturday.

I had a few chances to score. There was one at 2-0 down that skimmed the post. If that goal goes in, then it does change the game a bit, they are then under pressure.

If we can get back to 2-1, then you never know. It could have been a nervy ending for them.

You just need a bit of luck and get something out of the game.

We were on top at the time but when their third goal goes in, it’s game over really. It’s done and dusted, we’re not going to come back from that.

They had quality in their team and the fourth goal showed it as Sammy Ameobi curled it into the top corner. Nobody could do anything about that.

Bolton are going to be up there pushing for promotion this year.

They are a Championship side and on the pitch some of their link-up play was good. They had a game-plan and stuck to it well.

The stadium was fabulous and it’s made for them to go up. It was an experience but sometimes it’s not a great one.

We went into that game off a long break and maybe we didn’t need that. It didn’t help and it felt longer than 16 days.

To have won against Rochdale and to wait for that long to play again was tough.

Saturday we face MK Dons who have a new manager and have picked up a bit of form but we will try and carry on what we did last time at home. We need to get a result.
