On the back of four straight wins Chatham Town entertain one of the sides just above them in mid-table, Burnham Ramblers on Saturday.

Victory at Maidstone Road would move Chatham within a point of the Essex side in Ryman League Division 1 North.

Manager Kevin Watson said: “We’ve played teams above us and below us (recently) and now we’ve got one around us.

"It’s going to be interesting. The plus for me is there’s competition for places at the moment. People are looking over their shoulder, in a good way.

“Matt Solly comes back in after suspension on Saturday.

"I’ve sung his praises for the last few seasons and most times, he’d walk straight back in but now I’ll have to think about it because other people have performed well.”
