Defender Barry Fuller has agreed a new deal with the Gills.
The 34-year-old has signed on for additional year, taking his contract now through to the summer of 2020.
He has become a regular in the side under boss Steve Lovell, who brought him back to the club at the beginning of this season.
Fuller has been Mr Consistent for Lovell.
The Gills boss said: "Barry has been one of our most consistent performers this season and I am really pleased he will be staying with us for another 12 months."
Fuller’s first spell with the Gills saw him captain the side to promotion through the play-offs in League 2.
He left after an injury but managed to put that behind him, enjoying another promotion success during his time with AFC Wimbledon. He also captained them to a Wembley final win.
Fuller quickly established himself in the Gills team this season, initially in his more natural right-back position, before taking over on the left flank. He has made 189 appearances for the club now.
After signing his new contract, Fuller told the Gills website: “I am over the moon to be staying at the club for another year.
“I’m really pleased to have contributed to the successes of the team this season and I’m already looking forward to the next campaign.
“However, the focus now is to finish the season as strongly as possible and the team are very determined to achieve a top half finish.”
