The team take on another challenge this weekend in the National Sprint Championship at Stewartby in Bedfordshire.

The one-off event will see the 2024 champion crowned.

Elmore said “The Sprint Championship title is one I’d very much like to secure.

“We’re halfway through the season and by securing a title in my debut season in the Formula 4 catamaran class would just be fantastic.

“I know it’s going to be a tough weekend and winning is definitely not a given. It’s powerboat racing and, we all know, anything can happen.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back in the boat.

“The Kingfisher Team boat suits my driving style and the team have done a brilliant job it getting it running so well so far this season.

“We know we’re fast and have a good pace, but it’s a long and unpredictable course.

“There’s lots of competition, there are some new boats all bringing with them what could be extra speed and many of the other racers all have much more experience than me.”
