Gillingham have signed Charlton Athletic defender Harry Lennon on one-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old Addicks academy graduate spent part of last season with the Gills on a youth loan deal.
After being named on the bench three times he made his Gills debut with 90 minutes in the 2-1 League 1 win at Colchester United on Boxing Day and also appeared in the 3-1 home defeat to Bristol City.
The centre-back - who had previously spent a short time on loan at Cambridge United - agreed a return to Priestfield on Friday morning on a deal which initially runs until November 3.
Lennon made his Athletic debut as a sub in the FA Cup win against Huddersfield in January 2013, his Championship debut 12 months later against Doncaster and appeared for the first-team in their Capital One Cup trip to Peterborough this season.
Lennon has been handed the No26 shirt and is eligible for Saturday's visit of Oldham Athletic to Priestfield with Gills seeking a return to the top of the table.
Gills boss Justin Edinburgh told the club website: "With Deji Oshilaja having suffered a recent injury and Callum Davies out on loan we felt it was appropriate to cover ourselves.
"I've kept my eye on Harry, tracked his progress and tried to sign him a couple of times before.
"He is a strong defender, he has played here in the past and I very much look forward to working with him during his time at the club."
