Chatham have named Tony Beckingham as their new manager.
The former Hythe joint-boss takes over from Kevin Horlock, who departed the Maidstone Road hotseat at the end of the season after less than a year in charge.
Beckingham, who brings in Darren Anslow as his assistant, left Hythe after just five league games in charge alongside Clive Cook in October. He has also previously been at East Grinstead and Phoenix Sports.
"There were a couple of people that we talked to," said Chatham director of football Steve Binks.
"We had quite a few with Ryman League experience but Tony came across excellently and it was a unanimous to appoint him.
"We're keen to get him on board and welcome him to the club."
Beckingham's first focus will be to meet the current playing squad, as well as arrange Chatham's pre-season schedule.
Binks added: "We've had several approaches for our players so hopefully Tony will speak to them as soon as possible so he knows where he stands.
"I'm really excited with the appointment."
