Kevin Hake and his side will be heading off to Herne Bay for a 3pm kick off and those wishing to stay in Chatham can enjoy the entertainment there until 3pm.

Chatham’s Community Day kicks off at 10am and it’s free entry for all.

The men’s first team will be due between 11.30am and 12.30pm before they depart for Winch’s Field. Chats will start their Isthmian Premier Division campaign next Saturday.

Chats say the day is to “help encourage awareness and celebrate our great community.”

There’s football challenges on the pitch, including a crossbar challenge and a score from a corner challenge.

There will be a bouncy castle and the bar will be open throughout, serving drinks and food, while there will also be ice creams on sale.

Women’s first team players will be there for a meet and greet from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. Their season starts in mid-August and so they still have three friendly matches scheduled.

Moneyfields, who play in the National League South West, are the visitors to the Bauvill Stadium on Sunday, with a 2.30pm kick off. Chats played Watford Women last weekend, drawing 1-1.
