Gillingham fans can get their first glimpse of the club’s new signings in action tonight.
The Gills are up against National League South side Concord Rangers at the club’s Aspect Arena in Canvey Island.
Among the new Gillingham signings in action will be former Concord youth player Billy Knott.
Former Bradford midfielder Knott will be one of several new faces in the Gillingham line-up.
Other newcomers on show will include loan striker Joe Quigley and midfielders Lee Martin, Scott Wagstaff and Mark Byrne.
It will be Gillingham’s second pre-season match, having won a behind closed doors friendly in France on Friday, beating local side AS Etaples 2-0 thanks to strikes from Martin and Byrne, the second goal coming from the penalty spot.
The match will also give boss Justin Edinburgh the chance to cast his eye over several trialists who have been training with the club, including former Bromley striker Moses Emmanuel.
The Gills have undergone a rigorous training programme since returning back from their summer break, which has included a week’s camp in Le Touquet and a workout with the Royal Engineers.
Gillingham were due to face Braintree tonight but that game was cancelled due to problems with the pitch. Concord were quick to offer their services instead.
It is the first of two matches in two days over in Essex. On Wednesday night the Gills will also field a first-team squad for a match at Billericay.
On Saturday, Edinburgh's men visit Barnet, managed by former boss Martin Allen.
