Gillingham have pulled out of their pre-season game at Dartford because of Covid-19 cases in their squad.
The Gills were due to play at Princes Park on Tuesday night. Their Friday night homecoming game at Priestfield against QPR is also in doubt.
Gillingham were also set to take a young team to Margate on Wednesday but that has been cancelled too.
A statement from the Gills said: “We are disappointed to confirm that we have reluctantly had to cancel tomorrow night’s pre-season friendly at Dartford.
“The first team players were all tested yesterday (Sunday) for Covid-19 and sadly a few players have tested positive.
“Although those players who tested positive, most, if not all, are symptom free, they will now isolate in line with the NHS guidelines.
“The remainder of the small first-team squad who tested negative will report for training as normal.”
Because of the outbreak in the camp, the Gills have suspended ticket sales for their match against QPR on Friday night. Club officials are set to meet on Tuesday to discuss whether that match can go ahead.
The Gills are hoping to have fans back at Priestfield for the first time since February 29, 2020.
Gillingham were already having to use several youth players to make up the numbers, with seven teenagers in action at Welling United on Saturday.
Dartford have been quick to find a new opponent with Sittingbourne agreeing to play them on Tuesday night instead.
The Darts said: "We are extremely grateful to them for agreeing to travel to Princes Park and play us at very short notice."
Tickets for the Gillingham game are still valid for the game against Sittingbourne. Full refunds are available for anyone that wishes to have one. Requests need to be emailed to operations@dartfordfc.com or reception@dartfordfc.com with full name and contact number included.
