Tom Dallas made a triumphant return to the ring on Saturday night.

The 28-year-old was fighting for the first time in 13 months and clinched a points win over Czech Tomas Mrazek.

Referee Jeff Hinds scored the heavyweight contest 59-55 in Dallas' favour.

It was a seventh straight defeat for Mrazek, as he came off second best to the Chatham fighter, at York Hall, Bethnal Green.

Dallas was fighting for the first time since competing in the prizefighter event, where he lost to Tor Hamer in the semi-final. He is next due in action on September 7, again at York Hall.

Elsewhere, Rochester-based fighter Joe Elfidh suffered a fourth straight defeat, as he was stopped in round three of his lightweight contest against Curtis Woodhouse at Craven Park, Hull. Elfidh has been down in both of the opening two rounds.
