Defender Luke O'Neill has announced he is leaving the Gills.
The 27-year-old is out of contract this summer and is heading for a new challenge.
The right-back leaves having played 76 league games for the club.
He tweeted: "Would just like to say I’ve had a great two seasons but a new challenge now awaits me.
"Thanks to all you Gillingham fans that made me feel welcome.
"Made some great friends and had some great times.
"Wish Gillingham football club all the best in the future."
O'Neill joined the Gills on a free transfer following his release by Southend United in 2017 and quickly established himself in the team.
He earned a reputation for scoring great free-kicks, including a stunner against Luton Town this season.
Hopes of him staying beyond this season faded when he was left out of the matchday squad for the final game, at Blackpool, with his contract situation cited as the reason.
