Invicta Dynamos cemented their position as favourites for the ENIHL South 1 title over the weekend with victories against fellow challengers Bracknell Hornets and rivals Streatham Redskins.
Kevin Parrish’s side have now gone 17 games unbeaten and sit just a point behind Bracknell with four games in hand.
Saturday’s 4-3 victory at Bracknell, Mos' third in four games against the only team with a realistic chance of stopping them lifting the title, saw Martin Melichercik hit the first and last markers and Andy Smith and Elliot Andrews score in between.
During Sunday’s 7-2 win at home to Streatham, the exertions of the night before looked to have taken their toll as the south London side led 2-1 at the first interval.
Melichercik levelled matters soon after the restart, however, before Andy Smith’s second of the game, Lewis Burke’s first for the club and Jamie Dancey’s first for seven games put the home side in command.
AJ Smith and Milan Kostolny completed the rout early in the third period of a game that witnessed Invicta's Damien Welch (cross checking) and Phil Manny (leaving the bench) ejected.
