Gillingham have added a trip to Colchester United to their busy pre-season schedule.
The Gills will travel to League 2 Colchester on the last weekend before the Football League season kicks off.
It will represent their toughest challenges of the summer, on paper, after a month-long tour of Kent's non-league sides.
Gillingham kicked off their pre-season with games at Sheppey and Folkestone on Saturday, giving every player 45 minutes of action.
They will do the same again on Tuesday night, with most of their senior players heading to Bromley and another 22 taking on Faversham Town.
The game against Colchester takes place on Saturday, July 28 (3pm kick off).
On the same day they will send a team to take on Thamesmead Town at their home ground of Princes Park in Dartford.
