Gillingham know who they will face in the second round of the FA Cup if they can overcome Cheltenham Town in next week’s replay.
The draw for round two took place on Monday night and either Gillingham or Cheltenham will face AFC Wimbledon away.
The Gills needed the intervention of their youngest players to help turn the game in their favour on Saturday, earning a replay thanks to a goal from 18-year-old Gerald Sithole.
Fellow teenager Bailey Akehurst almost hit a winner but was inches away with a strike in the final moments of the match.
Gillingham have made it past round one in the two previous seasons under current boss Steve Evans and will have to do it the hard way this time, travelling to Cheltenham next Tuesday.
Last season they beat Woking before losing out to Exeter City. The previous year they made it to round three for a televised match against West Ham, which was won by the Premier League side with two late goals.
Cheltenham have already beaten the Gills in the League Cup this season, winning on penalties at Priestfield in round two after that match was also drawn 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Wimbledon beat non-league Guiseley 1-0 in their round one match.
