Gillingham boss Steve Evans has praised the work done by volunteers at Priestfield.
Over the last few weeks fans have been lending a hand to make sure the ground is in tip-top condition for when football eventually resumes.
Evans said: “I have been meeting supporters around the ground who have been working so hard, making sure that the place is spotless for when we all return.
“They are absolute salt of the earth people, great people and it’s been a pleasure to take time out and chat to them. It seemed to make their day.
“I am really proud of them and have watched them from my office window.
“There is a lot going on, refurbs inside, the chairman has got builders in working as well, you look around and there is still stuff going on behind the scenes.
“I see lots of positives and we are all positive.”
The play-off final in League 1 took place on Monday night at Wembley. Gareth Ainsworth’s Wycombe Wanderers side beat Oxford 2-1 to win promotion.
Former Priestfield favourite Adebayo Akinfenwa helped Wycombe to victory while another ex Gills striker Josh Parker was an unused substitute - a year after taking part in Charlton’s League 1 play-off win at Wembley.
