Manager Justin Edinburgh faces several selection dilemmas this weekend.

The Gillingham boss has several players coming back from injury at the same time ahead of their home match against Northampton on Saturday.

Bradley Dack, Scott Wagstaff and Chris Herd are all due to be available, as is Frank Nouble, who tweaked his hamstring last week.

Bradley Garmston managed his first 45 minutes of the season in the 2-0 Checkatrade Trophy win at West Brom on Tuesday and on-loan defender Baily Cargill played for the first time in nine months.

Edinburgh said: “I hope there are lots of decisions to be made. We are positive, the players are positive and the (West Brom) result will increase that positivity.

"Mentally it will help. It has been far too long (without a win) and it is an obstacle we have overcome. It could help us in the long run.”

Edinburgh is likely to ease Garmston back in following his first showing since dislocating his knee cap and tearing the ligaments.

Ryan Jackson is a doubt for the weekend, though, after his comeback from injury ended after less than half an hour.

The right-back came on for the second half on Tuesday but a dead leg led to him being replaced after 74 minutes.

Edinburgh said: “We don’t envisage it being a problem but we will have to assess it to see where we go. I hope he would be OK for Saturday.”
