Gillingham-born professional footballer Sean Raggett has tested positive for coronavirus.
The former Gills youngster and ex Dover Athletic player is currently on loan at Portsmouth.
Portsmouth confirmed that the defender, on loan from Norwich City, is one of four players at the League 1 side to have become infected.
Pompey are now awaiting the results of another 10 tests to see if anyone else has become affected.
Raggett, along with James Bolton, Andy Cannon and Haji Mnoga are now self-isolating and Public Health England have been notified.
A club statement said: “Once again, we urge everyone to follow the advice issued by the government.”
Raggett was a junior at Gillingham, where his parents John and Jane live.
He’s a former Rainham Mark pupil who started out at Deanview 95 as a kid before Thamesview and then on to Chatham Town, where he was spotted for the Gills’ youth side aged 14.
He was released from Gillingham at 16 and joined Andy Hessenthaler’s Dover, where his career took off.
Football is currently in lockdown until the end of April, at the earliest.
Gillingham have kept their players away from the club since Monday and they will remain off next week too.
The club's ticket office and mega store are closed, along with phone lines.
