Invicta Dynamos' coach Kevin Parrish has played down the chances of winning at Chelmsford Chieftains in his club’s final ENIHL Cup group fixture on Sunday (6.30pm).
Having already qualified as group winners, Invicta will be without imports Milan Kostolny and Martin Melichercik (holiday), and possibly defenceman Adam Copland (family commitments) and Parrish admits Mos’ game plan may be damage limitation. He said: “I’ll look to give more ice time to the players that haven’t had regular shifts.
“We might be looking to keep the score down as Chelmsford won’t be treating it as a meaningless game. However, the team we ice will be good enough to win the game.”
A victory would extend the club’s winning streak to eight matches.
