Bradley Garmston is facing up to another injury setback.
He pulled up with a hamstring injury on Tuesday night – the third time he has suffered with that problem this season.
The left-back dislocated his knee in the summer and getting back to full fitness has proved problematic.
He was making his fifth league appearance of the season when he suffered his latest injury.
A determined Garmston later tweeted: “Heartbroken would be an understatement right now, having to go through all this again.
“What doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger.”
Head coach Ady Pennock has watched Garmston’s rehabilitation from his previous injuries and felt for the 23-year-old.
Pennock said: “He has worked his socks off. It is his hamstring again and I feel so sorry for him.
“He will be OK, we’ll get him back and will make him stronger. He is still learning his trade and he has been first class for us.
“When we (the current management team) came in, he was injured but he was working so hard and it is so disappointing.”
Garmston was the second left-sided player to go off injured. He had come onto the field to replace Deji Oshilaja, who limped off with a groin strain.
Pennock said: “We have to see what it is like but he has been great, he has been first class and so consistent. He will be a big loss.”
