Gillingham will travel to Premier League Norwich City days before their League 1 campaign starts.
The additional friendly at Carrow Road has been added for Tuesday, August 3, with an 8pm kick off.
The match is expected to be played infront of supporters and will be Norwich’s first game at their home ground since last season.
Norwich were promoted back to the English top-flight after winning the 2020/21 Championship title under head coach Daniel Farke. Their league campaign starts at home to Liverpool on Saturday, August 14.
Steve Evans’ Gillingham will face Lincoln City at Priestfield in their League 1 opener on Saturday, August 7, four days after visiting Norwich.
The Gills begin their senior pre-season schedule on Saturday (July 10) with a trip to face former boss Steve Lovell’s Welling United.
Games against Dartford, QPR, Peterborough, Colchester, Millwall and Leyton Orient are all lined up ahead of their final warm-up match at Norwich.
