Gillingham’s game against Lincoln City at Priestfield has been selected for live televised coverage.
The match will be broadcast by Sky Sports on Friday, February 5 at 6pm - having originally been scheduled to take place on the Saturday.
Steve Evans’ men last played live on television when they hosted West Ham in the FA Cup last year on BT Sport.
All of their games this season have been streamed for internet coverage while fans have been shut out of grounds because of Covid restrictions.
Gillingham are yet to play The Imps this season with the match at Sincil Bank twice postponed, firstly because of international call-ups and again this week because of a waterlogged pitch at the LNER Stadium.
That match may not now be played until towards the end of the season. A date has yet to be announced.
With the Lincoln-Gillingham match on Tuesday night postponed, Hull City took advantage to take over at the top of League 1.
Gillingham are currently 13th in the table, seven points off the play-off places. They are at home to Rochdale this Saturday, followed by a Tuesday night (6pm) match at Priestfield against Crewe Alexandra.
